Experience the whimsical chaos of Lewis Carroll's Jabberwocky through AI-generated imagery, as each stanza of this beloved nonsense poem is transformed into surreal visual interpretations. Following the success of their previous AI image series featuring 'A Visit from Saint Nicholas,' AI Outtakes brings new life to Carroll's masterpiece with unexpected and often humorous results.

AI Outtakes, Vol. 81

The staff here at AI Outtakes has a great time back in Vol. 70, where we took individual lines from A Visit from Saint Nicholas by Clement Clarke Moore and ran them unedited through an AI image prompt.

There are a ton of famous works that would be a good fit for this series, but if you (like us) want maximum AI image chaos, there's really only one logical choice: Jabberwocky, by Lewis Carroll. They call it a children's poem, but if you've never read it or if it's been a while, decide for yourself!

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!"

Sure hope that boy and dad don't show up later in the poem

He took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought— So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back.

Huzzah!
Huzzah!

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" He chortled in his joy.

No lie, this is one of the funniest images we've featured in AI Outtakes just given all of the fantasy photos from the other stanzas
